I have a long-lasting interest in education, informatics, and writing. Until recently I pursued mainly the first two while writing as a hobby, but I am currently changing gears and focusing more on the writing part, while using my knowledge gained so far.
I work as a freelance writer and part-time researcher. I previously worked as a researcher and university professor, giving lectures and exercise hours, supervising students, pursuing research, and publishing and presenting the results. The publishing part was where my interest for writing truly met my interest in informatics.
I hold a PhD degree in Computer Science (Software Engineering). I defended my PhD thesis in March 2009 and the main contents of my thesis are published in a book available at Amazon.com.
In 2005 I obtained the MSc degree in Data Mining (with honours) from the University of Nantes, France. I was ranked 3rd out of 29 graduates.
I also hold an Engineering Degree in Computer Science from the “Politehnica” University of Bucharest, Romania.
